A Bit About Us

Who are we?…

We are sisters Roxanne and Jasmin Hartley (yes the business name is a play on our surname, and not a spelling error!). We run our small business from our home.

How did it all start?…

We were helping our father at a crafts fair and saw so many lovely stalls of small businesses selling products they’d lovingly made themselves. We were envious of these people and desperately wanted to do something ourselves.

Whenever we visited gift shops as children, we would both scour the pre-personalised keyrings, pens and bags shelves until we realised our names were too unusual. Having something with our name on was not easy to find!

With this in mind, it was soon clear what we would do. We both love cosmetics and pretty homewares. We targeted an audience our own age. A business that enabled us to be creative, make products that people wanted, but wasn’t competing with other traders was perfect.

We started off with just 4-5 products and our USP was that we designed, printed and pressed the items at the shows we took part in. So customers could wander around and return when their personalised item was ready!

After a lot of successful shows we started getting a lot more interest in the online sector and then expanded the business to sublimation as well as dye printing to enable us to sell up to 20 different product types.

We are very thankful to our family for giving us the help and guidance to create our company and we hope you love our products as much as we do!
